Shaila
Shaila is the heart of our in-center kitchen! As our cook, Shaila keeps little bellies full with delicious meals and snacks made with care for all of the children at Legacy Childcare.
When needed, Shaila is always willing to jump into a classroom to help cover breaks and spend time with children of all ages. Her flexibility, kindness, and willingness to help wherever needed make her such an important part of our team.
Shaila is also a proud mom to two sons and a cat mom with two furry friends at home. Outside of work, she enjoys dining at her favorite restaurant, Izumi, and traveling to her favorite place — Montana. Whether she’s in the kitchen or in a classroom, Shaila brings warmth and positivity everywhere she goes!
April
April is our multitasking floater, and all-around childcare superstar. Officially, she’s been in childcare for 4 years, but with 19 years of experience wrangling kiddos in church nurseries and beyond, she’s basically got a PhD in tiny humans.
She’s the ultimate infant expert, though toddlers and preschoolers know she’s just as fun when it comes to snacks, stories, and snack-time shenanigans. Her favorite part of the day? Dance parties that get everyone moving (baby snuggles are a close second, of course). April loves watching little ones hit milestones, learn new things, and just soak up all the joy of childhood.
Outside the daycare chaos, April is equally impressive—she bakes show-stopping cakes, reads, watches movies, conquers puzzles, and has sung the national anthem at over 30 semi-pro and pro sporting events. With her warmth, energy, and knack for turning every day into a mini celebration, April keeps our daycare buzzing with fun, cuddles, and just the right amount of dance-floor flair!
Sophia
Sophia is our part-time kid-wrangling superstar who floats around our daycare, bringing energy, laughter, and the occasional spontaneous dance party. As a high schooler, she’s got the stamina to keep up with our little bundles of endless energy—whether that means belting out songs (perfect pitch not required) or celebrating those little “aha!” moments when kids learn something new.
Outside of work, Sophia is a bookworm, a family-time enthusiast, and always keeping things fresh—literally. She’s dyed her hair about 10 times, so while you won’t see a rainbow, you might notice a fun new shade every so often. With her upbeat personality and ability to turn any moment into a mini celebration, Sophia keeps our daycare buzzing with fun and excitement. We’re lucky to have her—especially when we need someone to kick off a dance battle!
Trinity
Trinity is one of our amazing float teachers who is always ready to jump into any classroom whenever needed! As a high school student and part-time team member during the school year, Trinity balances work and school like a pro. In the summers, she joins us full time and brings even more energy and fun to the center each day.
Trinity is known for her positive attitude, willingness to help, and always wanting to play with the kids. Whether she’s helping with crafts, dancing along to silly songs, playing outside, or keeping up with a busy classroom, she always brings enthusiasm wherever she goes. The kids love her playful spirit, and staff can always count on her to jump in wherever she’s needed most.
When she’s not at daycare or school, Trinity enjoys two very important things: iced caramel coffee and Doritos with cottage cheese — a snack combination she fully stands behind! Her fun personality, flexibility, and caring nature make her such a valued part of the Legacy Childcare team.
Bella
Bella is one of the friendly faces you’ll see all throughout Legacy Childcare! As one of our float teachers, Bella helps support classrooms of all ages and is always happy to jump in wherever an extra set of hands is needed. During the school year, she works part time while attending high school, and in the summers she joins our team full time.
Bella has a calm, dependable personality and does a wonderful job connecting with both children and staff. Whether she’s helping with activities, reading stories, or simply joining in on playtime, she brings a caring and positive presence to every classroom she enters. Her flexibility and willingness to help make her someone our team can always count on.
Outside of work, Bella is very passionate about music and has been playing the viola for seven years. She enjoys listening to music, practicing her instrument, and spending summer days at the lake. She also loves animals and has a dog named Lucky. When it comes to favorite treats, Bella is a fan of mint chocolate chip ice cream and edible raw cookie dough — both excellent choices if you ask us! We are so lucky to have Bella as part of the Legacy Childcare team.
